1. Rubens Barrichello - Ferrari Rubens Barrichello wins his first race in his career after starting from 18th place but benefiting from numerous retirements, the safety car and staying on dry tyres on a wet track a few laps from the end.
The 2 McLaren drivers finished 2nd and 3rd after both decide to go for wet tyres towards the end of the race. 
Jenson Button achieves his best ever finish thus far in 4th.
Michael Schumacher is hit from behind by Giancarlo Fisichella at the start and both retire.
