Pizzonia retired from 3rd with a gearbox failure while Montoya and Button both retired with tyre failures. The safety car was deployed a number of times! 11 cars were classified as finishers although Zonta suffered an engine failure 3 laps from the end. Ferrari, McLaren, Toyota and Sauber managed to finish both their cars. Williams and BAR failed to finish either of their cars. |
