The 2005 Formula 1 race:

 Top 8Highlights 
1. Giancarlo Fisichella Giancarlo Fisichella wins the race from pole. The starting grid was mixed due to the wet first qualifying session. Rubens Barrichello and Fernando Alonso had great performances jumping from 11th and 13th on the grid to finish second and third. David Coulthard gave Red Bull a dream debut result while Mark Webber also did well in the Williams to finish 5th. The McLaren's had a relatively poor start to the season with Montoya finishing 6th and Raikkonen in 8th. Christian Klien in the Red Bull was sandwiched between them.
Michael Schumacher retired from the race when he tangled with Nick Heifeld.
17 cars were classified as finishers.
Renault, Red Bull, McLaren, BAR, Toyota, Sauber and Jordan managed to finish both their cars.

 Top 8Highlights 
1.Michael Schumacher - FerrariDominant win by Ferrari and Michael Schumacher. Rubens Barrichello finished 13 seconds behind while Alonso was 34 seconds behind. The rest were over a minute behind.
Ferrari were so far ahead in front while traditional front runners Williams and McLaren struggled.
Renault made a considerable step forward while Toyota didn't make any impression that they are moving forward finishing 12th and 13th.
14 cars were classified as finishers.
Ferrari, Renault, Williams, BAR and Toyota managed to finish both their cars.
Minardi failed to finish either of their cars .
