Spanish GP - Warm-up Session

Final Order: Rubens Barrichello, Nick Heidfeld, Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa, Heinz Harald Frentzen, Ralf Schumacher, Enrique Bernoldi, Olivier Panis, Takuma Sato and Jenson Button make the top 10.
Fisichella, Montoya, Villeneuve, Raikkonen, Salo, Coulthard, de la Rosa, Trulli, Irvine, Webber, McNish and Yoong make the rest of the field.

30 min: Session over. 

29 min: The session has restarted and most of the cars go out for their final 2 laps! 

28 min: Red Flag - The session will be restarted shortly but with just over a minute remaining, no one will be able to set a time. 

28 min: Red Flag - This is the 3rd wing related incident for Minardi this weekend. The first two were with the front wing and now it is the rear wing.

28 min: Drama again for Minardi. Webber loses his rear wing on the main straight and spins into the gravel. Session stopped!

27 min: Heinz Harald Frentzen moves into 5th. The Arrows look strong here.

27 min: Rubens Barrichello improves again in first with a time of 1:20.229.

26 min: Top 10 - Barrichello, Heidfeld, M Schumacher, Massa, R Schumacher, Bernoldi, Panis, Button, Sato and Fisichella.

25 min: Michael Schumacher stops on the track with some problem. A rare scene!

24 min: Barrichello improves in first. Michael Schumacher slow!

23 min: Juan Pablo Montoya moves into 9th with a time of 1:22.397. Barrichello fast.

22 min: Felipe Massa improves his time but remains in 4th. Takuma Sato moves into 8th ahead of his team-mate.

20 min: 10 minutes to go. Several cars are back out on the track for their final runs.

19 min: At this stage, only Heidfeld seems to be a match for the Ferraris. Everyone else is at least a second behind!

18 min: The 2 McLarens are in 13th (Coulthard) and 17th (Raikkonen). Heavy fuel load perhaps ?

17 min: Jacques Villeneuve moves into 9th with a time of 1:22.461.

16 min: Giancarlo Fisichella takes 8th from Frentzen.

15 min: Top 10 - Barrichello, Heidfeld, M Schumacher, Massa, R Schumacher, Panis, Button, Frentzen, Fisichella and Montoya.

14 min: Rubens Barrichello moves into first place with a time of 1:20.495.

13 min: Nick Heidfeld better Michael Schumacher's time and tops the timesheets.

12 min: Michael Schumacher goes fastest with a time of 1:20.884. Barrichello is now second.

11 min: Felipe Massa goes to the top of the timesheets followed by Fisichella. Frentzen moves into 4th ahead of Coulthard and Irvine. The 2 Ferraris are on timed laps now.

10 min: Kimi Raikkonen goes third ahead of Takuma Sato. More drivers on the track now!

9 min: Kimi Raikkonen and Takuma Sato are starting timed laps.

8 min: Salo pits so no time from him. Montoya goes fastest with a 1:22.904.

7 min: Jacques Villeneuve improves with a time of 1:23.755. Montoya on a flyer.

6 min: Michael Schumacher on the track. Mika Salo on a timed lap.

5 min: Jacques Villeneuve sets a time of 1:24.227.

4 min: Mark Webber pits at the end of his second lap. Villeneuve starts a flying lap.

3 min: Jacques Villeneuve on the track. He only managed 16th in Qualifying!

2 min: Mark Webber stays on the track for a second lap
