Italian GP - Warm-up Session

Final Order : Ralf Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Juan Pablo Montoya, Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen and Olivier Panis make the top 6.
Massa, Coulthard, Salo, Heidfeld, Irvine, McNish, Sato, Villeneuve, Fisichella, Trulli, Button, Webber and Yoong make the rest of the field. Pedro de la Rosa failed to set a competitive time.

30 min: Final lap ... Raikkonen takes 5th from Massa ... Michael Schumacher improves slightly in 4th

29 min: Michael Schumacher moves into 4th with a time of 1:25.193. It is interesting that Michael is over 0.7 seconds off the pace this session. Could he be running a heavy fuel load ?

28 min: Pedro de la Rosa hasn't set a time yet. He is struggling with a technical problem. 

27 min: Michael Schumacher is in 5th and has only completed 6 laps. He back on the track for a final run now. 

27 min: Felipe Massa improves into 4th with a time of 1:25.428. 

26 min: Rubens Barrichello takes second from Montoya with a time of 1:24.636 

26 min: Nick Heidfeld takes 6th with a time of 1:26.133 

25 min: Juan Pablo Montoya jumps into second with a time of 1:24.937 while Felipe Massa moves into 7th with a 1:26.451 

24 min: Villeneuve continues to improve. He is up in 6th with a time of 1:26.464. Button sets his first time of the day and moves into 12th. 

23 min: Top 10 - R Schumacher, Barrichello, M Schumacher, Irvine, Raikkonen, Coulthard, Fisichella, Salo, Villeneuve and McNish. de la Rosa and Button have yet to set a time! 

22 min: And Villeneuve improves again and moves into 9th with a time of 1:26.667. Button finally on the track! 

21 min: Panis moves up into 10th, Webber goes into 15th. 

20 min: Villeneuve moves into 11th with a time of 1:27.286. de la Rosa on a flying lap finally. 

19 min: And Fisichella improves again with a 1:26.556 and good enough for 7th. Villeneuve sets his first competitive time of the day and moves into 15th! 

18 min: Giancarlo Fisichella improves again and moves into 12th place with a 1:27.628. 

17 min: Ralf Schumacher improves his time in 1st with a 1:24.480. Barrichello also improves with a 1:24.971 and remains in second. 

16 min: Eddie Irvine jumps into 4th while Massa takes 11th. Fisichella sets his first time of the day in 13th. 

15 min: Takuma Sato goes off into the gravel but recovers. 

14 min: Top 10 - R Schumacher, Barrichello, M Schumacher, Raikkonen, Coulthard, McNish, Trulli, Heidfeld, Irvine and Panis. Fisichella, Villeneuve, Webber, Button and de la Rosa have yet to set a time! 

13 min: And Michael Schumacher moves into 3rd with a time of 1:25.554. 

13 min: But Barrichello takes second from Raikkonen with a 1:25.366. 

12 min: Kimi Raikkonen moves into 2nd with a 1:26.419 followed by David Coulthard with a 1:26.648 

11 min: Ralf Schumacher improves in 1st with a 1:25.349. 

10 min: Rubens Barrichello takes second with a time of 1:26.798. 

9 min: Allan McNish moves into 3rd with a 1:28.030 while Yoong is the 4th driver to set a time with 1 :31.675. 

8 min: Ralf Schumacher goes fastest with a time of 1::26.536.

7 min: Juan Pablo Montoya is the first to set a timed lap this morning with a 1:27.892.

6 min: Mika Salo returns to the pits after an installation lap in his spare car.

5 min: de la Rosa and Montoya are finally out on the track.

3 min: A number of drivers are back onto the track in their spare cars.

2 min: The cars are now heading back to the pits. Only Pedro de la Rosa and Juan Pablo Montoya have yet to appear.

Session underway and the cars head onto the track for their installation laps led by Mika Salo. Those with spare cars allocated to them will also shakedown their spare cars.

As a result of his crash with Takuma Sato during qualifying yesterday, Kimi Raikkonen was stripped of his fastest time resulting in him losing a place on the grid. He will start from 6th while Edie Irvine in the Jaguar has moved up into 5th. Session starting in 2 minutes

Yesterday Juan Pablo Montoya managed his 7th Pole of the season. He has yet to convert any of his poles to wins this year. Last year though he started from Pole here and went on to win the race. Michael Schumacher was second in qualifying ahead of Ralf Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. Session starting in 5 minutes
