Final Order: Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Kimi Raikkonen, Eddie Irvine, Juan Pablo Montoya and Mika Salo make the top 6.
R Schumacher, de la Rosa, Trulli, Button, Fisichella, Villeneuve, Massa, Sato, Panis, Coulthard, Heidfeld, McNish, Webber and Yoong make the rest of the field.

57 min: A number of drivers return to the track for their final run of the day.

56 min: Kimi Raikkonen goes off but recovers.

55 min: 5 minutes to go and the top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Raikkonen, Irvine, Montoya, Salo, R Schumacher, de la Rosa, Trulli and Button.

53 min: Rubens Barrichello improves in second with a 1:22.658

51 min: Mika Salo improves his time in 6th with a 1:23.925

49 min: Mark Webber moves ahead of Alex Yoong with a time of 1:26.162. Yoong's session ended when he stalled his car.

48 min: Michael Schumacher has done the most number of laps today (both sessions) with 39 laps so far!

46 min: Giancarlo Fisichella improves into 11th with a time of 1:24.629. He is now the fastest Bridgestone runner behind the 2 Ferraris!

45 min: Nick Heidfeld seems to be struggling here down in 17th and over 0.6 seconds behind his team-mate despite doing a total of 29 laps today.

44 min: Villeneuve and Panis improve their times moving even closer to the Jordans!.

42 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Raikkonen, Irvine, Montoya, Salo, R Schumacher, de la Rosa, Trulli and Button.

40 min: And Kimi Raikkonen improves again with a 1:23.016. Mika Salo moves into 6th splitting the 2 Williams'

39 min: Kimi Raikkonen improves in 3rd with a time of 1:23.196. This session he is the closest runner to the Ferraris!

38 min: And Rubens improves again with a 1:22.664, a lot closer to Michael.

37 min: Rubens Barrichello moves closer to his team-mate improving his time to 1:22.962 and now just over half a second behind Michael.

36 min: Montoya improves his time but remains in 5th and Webber improves his time but remains in 20th!

35 min: Pedro de la Rosa improves but again remains in 7th. Meanwhile McNish is pushing his car back to try and get it back into the pits!

34 min: Allan McNish stops on the side of the track with a problem. He is currently in 17th place.

33 min: Michael Schumacher improves yet again with a time of 1:22.433.

32 min: Jarno Trulli takes 8th from Button with a 1:24.358.

31 min: Takuma Sato moves into 12th with a time of 1:24.990. The Jordans and the BARs are very close this weekend with under 0.2 seconds separating the 4 cars at this stage.

30 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Raikkonen, Irvine, Montoya, R Schumacher, de la Rosa, Button, Trulli and Salo.

28 min: A number of drivers return to the track including Michael Schumacher. 

27 min: No action on the track now due to yellow flags as a result of Yoong's spin. 

25 min: Alex Yoong spins and stops on the track. Session over for him. He is currently in 19th place.

25 min: Jacques Villeneuve moves into 14th place ahead of his team-mate with a 1:25.097

24 min: Kimi Raikkonen takes 3rd with a time of 1:23.282 while Pedro de la Rosa improves in 7th place.

23 min: At this stage 8 out of the top 10 are on Michelins but the 2 who are on Bridgestones are 1st and 2nd!

22 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Barrichello, Irvine, Montoya, Raikkonen, R Schumacher, de la Rosa, Button, Trulli and Salo.

21 min: Mika Salo moves into 9th with a time of 1:24.877

20 min: OK, he finally gets it right and Barrichello moves into 2nd with a time of 1:23.065. He is 0.58 seconds off the pace.

19 min: Rubens Barrichello improves 1 place to 19th sandwiched between the 2 Minardi's. He must be getting frustrated.

18 min: Alex Yoong improves in 18th and is now over a second ahead of his team-mate Mark Webber! Could this be real!

17 min: Eddie Irvine moves into second with a time of 1:23.460!

16 min: Rubens Barrichello is back on track. Hopefully he'll set a good time this run!

15 min: And Michael improves again with a 1:22.477. He is now just 0.26 seconds off the Pole time from last year!

14 min: Meanwhile Michael Schumacher improves again with a 1:22.680. Now he is almost a second faster than Juan Pablo Montoya.

13 min: Allan McNish moves into 15th. The Toyotas were expected to be more competitive here!

12 min: Jarno Trulli in 7th has an off but recovers!

11 min: Michael Schumacher improves by 0.005 seconds with a 1:22.864

10 min: Jenson Button improves his time in 11th with a 1:25.049

9 min: Top 10 - M Schumacher, Montoya, Raikkonen, R Schumacher, de la Rosa, Irvine, Trulli, Massa, Fisichella and Coulthard.

8 min: Giancarlo Fisichella moves into 9th with a time of 1:25.033

7 min: Rubens Barrichello sets a slow time of 1:28.844 and is in 20th!

6 min: His team-mate David Coulthard has gone off and into the gravel. He is stuck there and his session is over!

6 min: Kimi Raikkonen though improves again and moves into 3rd with a time of 1:23.828

5 min: Eddie Irvine takes 5th from Raikkonen with a 1:24.582.

4 min: Rubens Barrichello starts his first flying lap of the day!

3 min: Kimi Raikkonen is the first to improve moving into 5th with a time of 1:24.643.

2 min: Rubens Barrichello is also on track having missed most of the first session.

1 min: More drivers join in with Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard and Giancarlo Fisichella.

Session underway and Eddie Irvine takes to the track followed by Takuma Sato, Ralf Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen.

Once again the Michelin runners appeared to have an advantage over the Bridgestones, however that was not enough to get ahead of Michael Schumacher and his Ferrari. With temperatures improving since the morning it will be interesting to see if the Michelin runners can get closer. Session starting in 2 minutes

Michael Schumacher was fastest in the first session this morning ahead of Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher. Rubens Barrichello failed to set a time while the 2 McLarens were down in 8th and 9th. The Jaguars look strong with de la Rosa in 4th and Irvine in 6th. Session starting in 5 minutes
