10-Mar: Michael Schumacher sets the fastest time in Fridays practice session despite crashing heavily 3 laps into the 2nd session. 9-Mar: The Orange Arrows Formula 1 team has finally been unveiled at Melbourne today. The title sponsor is Orange with new sponsorships from Eurobet, chello, Lost Boys, European Aviation and Enorm. In addition the team has confirmed that Mark Webber will be their F1 test driver as well as the lead driver for the Arrows F3000 team.

9-Mar: The Australian Grand Prix event has started with several supporting races taking place today. A record crowd of 60,000 attended today. The first practice session starts at 11 am local time on Friday, practice results will be updated here.

6-Mar: Australian Mark Webber will be the test driver for the Arrows F1 team, an official announcement will be made in Melbourne very soon. Meanwhile, the first Jumbo Jet from the UK has arrived in Melbourne carrying the McLarens, Williams, Jaguar and Jordans. It was followed by the Ferrari Jet. A third jet has been delayed in Europe but is expected to arrive today.

5-Mar : Australian GP Preview - The preparations for the first race of the 2000 season are almost finalised with teams starting to arrive on the weekend but are they really ready ? Jordan's Heinz-Harald Frentzen has mentioned that he has not experienced a start of a season similar to this. Every team is being stretched to the limit in every aspect of the car and hence a lot of component failure has occurred with most teams during the winter testing ...Full Report

3-Mar: Luca Badoer shook down the 3 F1-2000 Ferraris that are heading to Melbourne today, he completed a total of 32 laps in all 3 cars with a best lap of 1:00.746. The cars will be shipped to Melbourne tomorrow.

3-Mar: The Arrows F1 teams have announced that the new livery will be unveiled on the 9th of March on the eve of the Melbourne GP. They have also announced that Orange will be their title sponsor for the next 3 years and the new livery will be in Orange !. Arrows F1 have also signed United Pan Europe Communications as main sponsors and the Lost Boys who will develop a new Internet site for Arrows this year.

2-Mar: Rubens Barrichello tested the 3rd F1-2000 at Fiorano today, he concentrated on pit stops and setup. He completed 9 simulated pit stops, did a total of 50 laps and a best time of 1:01.248. Luca Badoer will shakedown the 3 cars to be sent to Melbourne tomorrow.

1-Mar: On a dry but windy track, Jenson Button managed to clock the fastest time at Silverstone. He clocked a best time of 1:26.4. Coulthard followed with a time of 1:27.2, Trulli (1:27.4), Zonta (1:27.7) and de la Rosa with a time of 1:28.1. Burti - Jaguar's test driver clocked a best time of 1:28.6 followed by Frentzen (1:28.7), Heidfeld (1:29.0), Verstappen (1:29.8), Lemarie - BAR's development driver (1:31.8). Both Benetton drivers clocked times on a semi wet track with Wurz clocking a time of 1:38.8 and Fisichella a time of 1:39.0. All the teams will now start packing and heading to Australia.

1-Mar: Michael Schumacher shookdown the 3rd F1-2000 today at Fiorano. He completed a total of 20 laps under wet conditions with a best time of 1:08.311. Rubens Barrichello continues testing tomorrow at Fiorano.
