3-July: "Will Ferrari bounce back ?" is the topic of the week. Have Your Say

3-July: When Jacques Villeneuve was asked how does he manage to continue doing brilliant starts he said "I don't know, and I don't want to know, when something so complicated is working well, you don't want to think about the details, you just do it, again and again. In fact, there are a few little tricks and tweaks, but I'm keeping them to myself in case one of my rivals hears about it". Out of 9 races so far, Villeneuve has managed to gain 2 or more positions at the start in 6 of them.

Ralf Schumacher indicated that after having lost 2 places at the start to Jacques Villeneuve and Heinz Harald Frentzen, he was pleased to add two more points for the team. Heinz Harald Frentzen also complained about his car describing as "almost undriveable" but he also added that he was upset with his teammate when they touched wheels bending the track rod on his car as Trulli was trying to overtake him. He said "This made the race even more difficult for me. It was not the first time since the beginning of the season that Jarno did something like that. After such a race the only thing you can do is look forward to the next race where we will have some modifications to the car and a new engine specification.
